Thoughts?
I want to do something that relates to what subject I am studying - Communication Graphics.
So what is interesting is that Alien communication, although is un-proven, is sort of design based, due to the crop circles we see in many different countries, and all the online videos showcasing either UFO's or some sort of unknown object.
There is a wide range of information that relates to Alien territory and there communication, so it will be interesting to find out how they communicate, and what people have written on there behalf, and to graphically communicate this from my perspective will be an interesting outcome.

CATALOGUE
from Argos to Archive - information based design research project

The re-imagining of data / scientific, academic or other relevant material (personally interesting, but non personal in content), it's organisation, indexing and professional presentation. What is success? what constitutes failure? how do you graphically categorise accidents? and can risk become a 'pythonesque' catalogue of bizarre illustrations?
How do you exploit the many format opportunities catalogues afford in order to best organise your work? - can the format and it's organisation become an integral part of the work rather than simply a framing or containing device?
contextual example of cross discipline working wellcome trust genome socks - Illustrating sock puppets - large format sock prints and directly printing from the socks themselves - indexing precise details of size / ownership material composition / use / and quality.
scientific reference (book source) a short history of nearly everything / Bill Bryson.
OUTCOME - a professionally produced bound document / catalogue / online equivalent.
